Position Overview

The role of National Competitions is entrusted with the pivotal task of steering all competition-oriented initiatives within England Roller Hockey. This role mandates a blend of keen organizational acumen, in-depth knowledge of roller hockey, and adeptness at collaborative engagement. It is integral to the successful execution of events, fostering a competitive environment that showcases the highest standards of the sport.

Primary Responsibilities

Comprehensive Oversight: Supervise the intricate planning and flawless execution of all competitions under the association's banner.

Rule Formulation: Curate and periodically update competition regulations, ensuring alignment with international benchmarks.

Match Official Collaboration: Engage synergistically with the National Match Officials Committee, ensuring competitions are staffed with proficient officials and that game standards are maintained.

Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective collaborations with varied committees and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, glitch-free events.

Logistical Mastery: Manage intricate logistics, from venue selection to scheduling with participants.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all competition facets comply with statutory, legal, and ethical benchmarks.

Reporting and Communication: Regularly collate and communicate competition findings, challenges, and insights to the National Executive Committee and associated entities.

Qualifications
